Cashbrokers are able to put any cheque made payable to you , or your trading name, through our bank  accounts. Once the cheque has cleared we can either give you cash or a cheque made payable to someone else.

There is no record on your account that you have received the money, ensuring you complete confidentiality.

There are times when we would all like a little more confidentiality in our financial affairs. One way of increasing confidentially is to make use of Cashbrokers exclusive Private Clients Service.

Instead of paying a cheque into your own account you can put it through our account. Once it has cleared we will give you the cash or a cheque made payable to someone else.

We can handle any cheque made payable to you or your trading name. A/C payee crossed cheques are no problem.
Imagine the possibilities if there is no record of the cheque in your account. The cash is then yours to spend as you like, in complete privacy.

How are we able to do this?

We have a very special banking arrangement that allows us to pay cheques that are made payable to others into our account. As you can imagine only a highly reputable company could obtain such an account.

We can accept any cheque (even crossed and A/C payee) that is made payable to you or your business name. The only ones that we will not accept are those made payable to Limited Companies.

How it works.

First you need to open an account with us. This procedure is exactly the same as when you open a bank account. You need to visit one of our branches, by appointment if you prefer, and bring in proof of ID. A driving license or Passport and three recent bills showing your home address. A personal account manager will be allocated to you who will handle all your transactions and become your single point of contact. Remember your details are held in complete confidence, we will not disclose them.

Once you have registered you will be given a supply of  forms together with a password. When you wish us to handle a cheque you simply send it by post with  a completed form. Once your cheque has cleared you can collect your cash from any of our branches or instruct us otherwise.

How much it costs.

There are no registration fees or handling charges. A fee of 5% of the value of the cheque is the only charge made, subject to a minimum of £25.

If you wish us to make any special arrangement for transferring the funds there may be an additional cost for this.

People from all walks of life use our Pawnbroking Services to raise short term cash. Many realise the advantage of being able to access cash for a relatively short period of time without the need to extend their credit line. Unlike any other form of lending Pawnbroking requires no credit checks and the transaction is not registered with the credit agencies. The level of confidentiality is unsurpassed. 

Whilst entering one of our shops is not an ordeal, you could well be buying jewellery, we do recognise that some people would prefer to keep the whole process as discrete as possible which is why we have developed our online Pawnbroking service. You provide us with details of the item you wish to pledge against a loan and we will give you a provisional valuation on line. You then send the goods to us and we confirm the valuation and transfer the funds to your account  send you a postal order or arrange for you to pick up cash from one of our branches.
