CASHING OF THIRD PARTY CHEQUES ID REQUIREMENTS [ Back to Top ]
The purpose of registering with us is so that we can verify who you are.
This takes about 10 minutes initially but once you are registered future transactions only take a couple of minutes.
To register you need to bring in documentation that proves who you are and where you live.
You should also bring any documentation showing that the cheque has been issued to you. i.e. wage slip, covering letter, etc.
If you don't have the exact ID listed below, please contact us and we can advise you if other documents can be accepted.
To prove who you are we need ONE of the following:
- A current UK Passport
- A current UK Driving License
- A current Shotgun Certificate
- Bank/Credit Photo Card
- Police Warrant Card
- Armed Forces ID Card
- Employers Photo Security Card
or Two of the following:
- Building Society / Giro Passbook
- National Insurance Card
- Taxi or PSV License
- Student Photo ID
- Council Tax Card
- Public Transport Photo ID
- DSS Benefit Card
- Medical Card
- Birth/Marriage Certificate
- Credit Card
- Council or Housing Association Tenancy Agreement
To prove where you live we need TWO of the following dated within the last month:
- Utility Bill (Gas, Water, Electric)
- Bank or Building Society Statement
- Official Printed Letter (Social Security, Council or Solicitors)
- Official Statement (Credit Card, Loan, HP)
- Credit Agreement
- TV License
- NHS Medical Card
- Contract of Employment
- Telephone Bill

You need to register with us first to use our Pawnbroking or Buy-Back Service.
You will also need to register in order to sell us your unwanted items.
YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD OR ABOVE TO USE OUR SERVICES
To register for these services please bring with you the following identification:
Photo Driving Licence
or
A VALID PASSPORT and OFFICIAL DOCUMENT/LETTER showing your current address i.e. BANK STATEMENT, UTILITY BILL, GOVERNMENT LETTER, etc.
or
Two official Document/Letter showing your current address i.e. BANK STATEMENT, UTILITY BILL, GOVERNMENT LETTER, etc.

Please read the identification list below. All identification produced as validation of your identity must be listed below and be within the time frame stated.
We cannot process you PAYDAY ADVANCE if the identification you provide is wrong.
PAYDAY ADVANCE ID REQUIREMENTS
You must have all of the following:
Cheque Book
Cheque Guarantee Card
You will also need the following forms of ID
Section A.
At least one from Section A:
- Telephone Bill (landline or mobile) dated within the last 13 weeks
- Council Tax Bill dated within the last 13 weeks
- Water Bill dated within the last 13 weeks
- Gas bill dated witin the last 13 weeks
- Satellite TV Bill (cable, Sky, etc.) dated within the last 13 weeks
- Wage slip / P60 dated within the last 13 weeks - Not a P45
- Letter from a solicitor/accountant dated within the last 6 weeks - Not a mailshot
- Letter from NHS/Inland Revenue dated within the last 6 weeks - Not a mailshot
- Letter from a Borough Council dated within the last 6 weeks - Not a mailshot
- Bank Statement dated within the last 8 weeks
- Credit Card Statement dated within the last 8 weeks
- Store Card Statement dated within the last 8 weeks
- Mortgage Statement dated within the last 8 weeks.
Section B.
At least one from Section B (must show your signature):
- Current/ Valid full or provisional driving license - both parts (card and counterpart)
- Current/ Valid UK Passport
- Current/ Valid Firearms Certificate
- Current/ Valid Tenancy Agreement (Council, Housing Association, Solicitor only)
- Current/ Valid Employee ID with photo - with signature
- Current/ Valid Visa or Mastercard Credit Card
- Current/ Valid Store Credit Card
- Current/ Valid Switch/Delta (Different to the one being used as the chq guarantee card)
Section C
At least one more ID from any of the above (Sections A and B) or from the section C below:
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate
- Current/ Valid TV License - must show date
- Current/ Valid Council Tax Book/Card - must show date
- Current/ Valid Council rent/book card - must show date
- Current/ Valid Employee ID with Photo - without signature
- Valid National Insurance Card / CIS Card/ Medical Card
At least 3 ID's in total
