PUBLIC NOTICE – CORONAVIRUS

Cashbrokers are committed to helping prevent the spread of Coronavirus and protecting our customers and staff as much as possible. We are ensuring hygiene standards are as high as possible.

- If you have a consistent cough, high temperature, any suspicion you may have the virus or a family member or friend you have been in contact with has the virus, please do not enter the store and telephone, email or Facebook message us instead.

 

We recognise that some of our services are essential to our customers so we are doing our utmost to stay open while changing our practices to minimise contact.  We are here to help.

 

- If you have a Buyback, Layaway or Pawned item that you wish to make a payment against we are happy for you to do this over the phone via your debit/credit card or you may make a bank transfer to us. If making a bank transfer, please contact us before and we will tell you the reference number to put on the transfer.

Once payment has been made remotely we can either post or email you any relevant paperwork. We would of course prefer email to minimise contact. We are happy to store your item until it is safe for you to come and collect.

 

Note to Existing Pawnbroking Customers

If you are experiencing temporary difficulty in making payments due to a loss in household income directly related to coronavirus you may be entitled to payment deferral. Please contact us by email or telephone to discuss.

- To minimise cash transactions and keypad contact, we are asking customers to use contactless card payments wherever possible if under £45 and Apple Pay or Android Pay if over £45. There is no upper limit for Apple and Android Pay. Apple and Android Pay is widely recognised as more secure than chip and pin.

 

-We ask that any goods you bring into store have been thoroughly cleaned.

 

You may find our phone lines are busier than usual. If so you may leave us a message or contact us via email or our Facebook page using Facebook Messenger and we can call you back. Please don’t worry if we don’t get back to you immediately we will as soon as possible.

We understand this is a worrying time for everyone both health wise and financially. We will be doing all we can to help minimise our customers concerns and exercising as much forbearance as possible. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for updates about shop opening times etc.
